Prayers with hard work brings victory, this is absolute in the history of Mr. J. Jasper Daniel – an admirable man full of discipline, morality and perseverance. Born on 30th October 1928, in Tirunelveli district, Mr. J. J. Daniel started his life as a teacher in a small school in his home town. While coming to Chennai in 1958, he had nothing except the abundant grace of God. In the initial days, he established Daniel Thomas Matriculation School at Arumbakkam in Chennai with a strength of one hundred students and three teachers.[...]

Lovingly called as “Founder Amma”, Mrs. Mary Ponnubai was born in the month of May in 1936. At the age of 18, Mrs. Mary Ponnubai started her career as a teacher. She was paired in wedlock with Mr. J. J. Daniel and lived in connubial bliss for over 30 years. With her moral strength, support and consistent prayers, Mr. J. J. Daniel has established the Daniel Thomas institutions in Chennai and Tirunelveli districts.[...]
